Wow! This has been
the MOST WONDERFUL WEEK we have had in I don’t know how long! We have been
receiving personal cards from folks there with photos – and it is precious!
Thank you so much! I don’t know who gets the credit for that BRILLIANT idea –
but well done!!!! J (Our spider web is no
where to be found in our mailbox!!!!!!!!!!) J Michael is like,
“Where did our little friend go? He must have had to move since we are getting a
card, or two or three every other day” Cool!
We will definitely
reply personally to each one – but thank you so much for organizing such a
gift. We wanted to QUICKLY say what a delight it has been because the rest of
the thank yous will take time to get there. We love you all. Vicky Moler says
it is still “such a blessing” to be at Island Church.
A friend of mine from
AZ – knew that we had lived in WA – so she sent me a news clip today of the
torrential rains that you all have received. We certainly pray that everyone is
okay and safe.
We hope that by now
you have received the magnets and bookmarks. We ordered 100 and realized that
was WAY TOO FEW. (We don’t know these things!) How you intend on dividing
those few we sent you up – I have no idea! They are all gone. Sorry! The
individual families that support us monthly who are in the congregation SHOULD
have received one of their own in the mail.
Thank you for your
prayers. This is our crazy week. Love Botswana Bible Institute (LBBI)
Graduation is this week. We are responsible for pulling everything off – so
hopefully we have not forgotten anything….robes pressed, banquet, ceremony,
guest speakers, gifts for graduates, photos, DVD, on and on…..If we can make it
to the 16th – we safe and know that we made it to all the functions
we were supposed to be a part of! We are looking forward to the holidays. It
is our turn to leave for Christmas. (All the missionaries have to rotate –
every other year). So we are traveling to SA. The boys are excited about eating
at McDonalds about 12 ½ hours into the 15 hour trip. They have already been
placing their orders in their head for Spicy chicken sandwiches and nuggets!
Michael and I are just dying to eat some great ethnic food. So we are going to
our favorite (ok - the only) Japanese restaurant.
