OBERG PRAISE N PRAY – May 14, 2007

PRAISE God that after waiting several months for some red tape issues to clear, our vehicle has been ordered and is probably nearing completion on the assembly line in Japan! Please PRAY that all will go well—sometime in the next 3-5 months Kevin should be able to make a trip to Ghana to pick it up! YEAH!

Please PRAY for Bonnie as she will begin doing Sunday school for the kids in Ndorola each Sunday that we are there. PRAY for her to be able to communicate effectively in Jula, and that the kids will be attentive and patient with her language! :o) Please PRAY that kids in the neighborhood will be drawn to come as well—we will be meeting under a big tree right out in an open field.

Please PRAY for continued wisdom and guidance in our decision for schooling for our kids this next year. We will need to decide within a month or so in order to get our home school materials out here, if that is the option that we choose. There are a lot of different factors that go into making a decision like this—please pray that God gives us peace in our hearts as to which way we should go.

Continue to PRAY for the well situation in Sirasso, that we would be able to clear the gas out at the bottom that is prohibiting the work from going forward.

This is a very important time of year, as farmers are returning to their fields and starting to prepare to plant their crops. It is also HOT SEASON! PRAY that God would bless these farmers and their families with strength and safety as they work, and that He would grant them a great harvest this coming year. The majority of believers in our churches in the Kenedougou region are subsistence farmers—please pray for God’s blessing upon them. (And PRAY that we would continue to survive the heat and humidity of these days—we do feel more run down and tired this time of year.)
